MCP 0.1.6#

• Hosted MCP: a revoked API key now stops working within 2 minutes (was 10).
• Hosted MCP: when too many requests arrive at once, the server answers 503 with Retry-After instead of slowing down for everyone.

MCP 0.1.5#

• Fix: the self-run server didn't start through npx in 0.1.3 and 0.1.4. If you use one of those, change the version in your config to 0.1.5. The hosted server was not affected.
• MCP: the hosted mode is now hostwolf-mcp --http.

• New: the MCP server is hosted at https://game.hostwolf.net/mcp. Connect Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code with just the URL and your API key; there's nothing to install and it's always up to date. Setup
• MCP: hostwolf-mcp --http runs the same server over Streamable HTTP, for anyone who wants to host it themselves.
• Docs examples and READMEs updated. The SDK code is unchanged from 0.1.2.

• SDK: rate limits with a long Retry-After (like 2 backups per 10 minutes) now fail at once instead of waiting. The wait is on error.retryAfter, and a new maxRetryWaitMs option controls how long the SDK waits by itself.
• MCP: rate-limit errors tell the assistant when to try again.

SDK and MCP 0.1.1#

• SDK: requests that time out are no longer retried, so a slow endpoint can't stack up several timeouts. servers.resources() takes a timeoutMs option.
• MCP: live stats in list_servers and get_server give up after 5 seconds instead of stalling, and every tool answers within 50 seconds, before AI clients time out.
• MCP: new delete_backup and delete_schedule tools.
• MCP: checks for newer releases on startup and mentions them in list_servers.

SDK and MCP 0.1.0#

• First release of the TypeScript SDK: every client API endpoint, typed responses, the live console, pagination, retries and errors.
• First release of the MCP server for Claude, Cursor and VS Code.

REST API#

• New: read-only plans and orders endpoints for API keys: GET /store/catalog, /store/orders and /store/billing. Ordering and payment stay in the panel.
• Published the full API reference, covering Hostwolf's own endpoints for mods, players, game settings, diagnostics, domains, smart backups and Minecraft networks.
